Hello, nice to meet you

My name is Paolo Priori, I’m 26 years old, and I live in the beautiful Valle Intelvi, the green bridge between Lake Como and Lake Lugano.
From a very young age, I was immersed in photography thanks to my family’s studio, Foto Idea, where I started as an assistant, learning to manage weddings, portraits, events, and much more. From there, turning photography into my profession was a natural step.
I studied photography at Mohole School in Milan and, after gaining valuable experience — including working as an assistant photographer for David Charles Lee (brother of the famous director Spike Lee) on the Amazon series Mr. & Mrs. Smith — I decided to open my own business and create an independent project, with a more contemporary and personal vision.

My approach

I love capturing authentic love stories.
My style is modern, minimal, and meticulously crafted. I focus on light, composition, and emotions: always searching for the image that speaks for itself, even years later.
I create timeless photographs — images that move you today and will continue to do so tomorrow.

Where I work

I mainly work on Lake Como, but I’m available wherever a story needs to be told.
Even though most of my experience is rooted in my home territory, I’m ready to travel and bring my vision to new destinations.

Who I work with
I work with both local and international couples, with particular attention to those seeking a bespoke, refined, and detail-focused service.
I also offer other types of shoots, some of which can be done in-studio at Foto Idea (fully equipped studio) or on location — such as maternity, artistic and professional portraits, couple sessions, and family photography.
Additionally, I provide services for baptisms, interior photography, corporate events, and promotional photography, with a focus on:
Product photography — still life & e-commerce
Brand & professional photography — for businesses and professionals
Digital content — photography for content creation and social media

How I work

My approach is simple: I listen, observe, and tell stories.
Before any shoot, I like to meet in person or, if not possible, have a call. This helps me understand how to best capture your story.
During the session, I naturally guide gestures, glances, and moments that will last forever. Every image you receive is carefully selected and refined to become an authentic memory, capable of evoking emotion every time you look at it.
